Jocelyn & Robert were married in the architecturally enchanting Knox United Church in downtown Calgary on November 14th; a perfect Fall day filled with autumn leaves & multi-faceted beauty. Jocelyn wore a stunning gown designed by red carpet designer Romona Keveza exclusive to Cameo & Cuflinks.
The gown featured dainty, re-embroidered lace and a blush pink underlay that helped highlight the fine detailing in the lace. The gown, from the top of the scalloped sweetheart neckline, through the perfectly fitted trumpet shape, to the bottom of the lace hemline, the gown was stunning on the bride! Jocelyn put her own individual style into the gown, finishing off her bridal look with a soft ivory sash embellished with Swarovski crystals, drawing the eye to her natural waist and adding a touch of her personality to the gown. Oh, did we also mention her beyond fabulous Manolo Blahnik shoes?! Jocelyn was not only a beautiful soul, but she was a bride with some serious style!
Jocelyn was a detail-savvy, beautiful bride to work with, and we were honoured to get to know her. She was excited to share her experience with future brides:
"I went to Cameo and Cufflinks as my first stop in my search for a simple classic lace dress, and knew that cameo carried a few designers that I was interested in. The dress I chose was the second dress I tried on. It was exactly what I was looking for, it was lace with a blush underlay, it fit perfectly and it was comfortable."
The bride also had some lovely advice for future brides:
"My advice to brides when looking for a dress would be to keep it simple and elegant, in most cases less is more and on the morning of your wedding try to eliminate the chaos by not having too many people in your house the morning of and take time to enjoy the moment, don't rush."
