Azuridge Estate Hotel has been a special place for Lindsay and Ryan throughout their relationship. After spending a night away while they were dating, they fell in love with the estate and the staff, and continued to visit over the years for various dates, dinners and events.
The wonderful service, and beautiful isolated location surrounded by woodland, made Azuridge Estate Hotel their number one wedding venue choice once they were engaged. Being able to combine their wedding party, family accommodation and catering all with Azuridge made perfect sense, and was an easy decision to make.
The happy couple met online, and arranged a first date at a local bar. Lindsay had a broken ankle at the time, but persevered to hobble to their date, and the rest is history!
Lindsay wore the beautiful Jude gown, by Lis Simon, and had a custom matching overskirt made, to achieve two very different looks with the same gown.
The wedding decor of gold and marble accents had ben decided long ago, as Lindsay and Ryan wanted their wedding to have an elegant formal feel. A friend of Lindsay's helped them define their vision for the wedding, and Lindsay also made a lot of the smaller decor items such as centre pieces.
We asked Lindsay what some of her most memorable moments were on their big day:
"The most memorable part of the day was either my first look with my husband on top of a large tower located on the estate grounds, or dancing early into the morning with our friends and family!"
Lindsay's advice for future brides on their wedding day:
"I would say the best piece of advice I can give is to enjoy and be as present on your big day as possible. I made sure to keep this top of mind on the day and to be present in every second. By the end of the night, I had no regrets about the day and knew I had been fully present in every interaction I had with the people around me."
Congratulations Lindsay and Ryan on your marriage and wish wish you a lifetime of happiness together!
